Ember Bloc is a fire blocking gel powder concentrate that's classified as a water enhancer that can be applied with a pressure washer using our special pressure washer applicator/eductor attachment. We strongly recommend that every Homeowner in a wildfire prone area (especially California homeowners) have one of these systems ready to go. Recent tests and scientific research have shown Ember Bloc to be more effective in terms of withstanding heat and flames compared to other commercial fire gels, Class A foams, or other short term water enhancers that have been on the market for some time. Ember Bloc holds up way better than commercial superabsorbent polymer fire gels. Ember Bloc is a short term fire retardant gel that comes in a dry powder form. It can last anywhere up to 6-12 hours after it is applied with a pressure washer and has the ability to be rehydrated by lightly misting it with water. Ember Bloc can be applied to the exterior of your house and surrounding structures to help protect against both embers and flames in a wildfire. It has a unique ability to viciously cling onto the side of a house to withstand high heat and windy conditions. No other fire blocking gel on the market can stick to the side of a slippery vertical surface like Ember Bloc. Other fire retardant gels and foams slump too much. This is what makes Ember Bloc the best! Its also environmentally friendly and simply rinses off with a pressure washer.

USE CASE: We recommend using this product for structural asset protection purposes, applying it well ahead of time of an anticipated wildfire.
APPLICATION: Ember Bloc dry powder can only be applied with the special applicator/eductor system below which connects onto your existing pressure washer gun. It sucks up the Ember Bloc Dry Powder from the bucket via the pickup tube and automatically turns it into fire blocking gel when combined with the water from your pressure washer at the end of your pressure washer gun. Important: It's very important to keep the bucket of Ember Bloc powder dry at all times. Water should never be added to the Bucket of Ember Bloc! Ember Bloc can last anywhere from 12-24 hours after it is applied and has the ability to be rehydrated by lightly misting it with water.
COVERAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Stand 10 to 15 feet back and make a series of long strokes starting at the top of the structure you are coating and work your way across and then down. Try not to spray over an area that you already covered. 35 lbs of powder concentrate is enough to coat approximately 3000 sq ft. Actual Coverage Results may vary based on the thickness applied and spraying technique. The thicker the better! Note: For use with gas pressure washers 2500 PSI and above. Do not use a pressure washer that exceeds 5000 PSI.

CLEANUP: When the danger has passed, Ember Bloc can be removed with a pressure washer. Ember Bloc is Environmentally Friendly.
CLEAN THE APPLICATOR AFTER EACH USE: Once you have finished using the system, the entire unit should be disassembled and each component should be cleaned and flushed thoroughly with water until all the Ember Bloc residue is gone. Tip: Some customers have purchased 2 of these applicator eductor attachments so they always have a clean one on hand ready to go.
